Wilde Wasser has been a popular excursion destination for young and old for years and for those who love hiking. The experience begins in Schladming and leads through the Talbachklamm through the Rohrmooser Untertal to the Riesach waterfall. You can get ther by taking the stairs and suspension bridge right next to the Riesach waterfall up to the Riesachsee or walking leisurely along the Forststraße.
Radstadt's local mountain is a great destination for young and old. Whether you go directly from the hotel, past the Mandlberggut and arrive at the summit of the Rossbrand at 1768 m or drive comfortably by car, followed by a 15-minute walk , the 360° panorama rewards every effort and the team at the Radstädter Hütte will be happy to take care of you refreshment.
In the state of Salzburg, you have the chance to visit 4 wonderful castles. All of them can be easily reached from the hotel, for example, as part of a half-day or full-day excursion. The closest one is Hohenwerfen castle. Here, high up on a rock cone above the Salzach Valley, you can experience glimpses of life in the Middle Ages and afterwards you will be amazed by a flying demonstration of falconry.
The Eisriesenwelt ice cave in Werfen takes you into a natural spectacle of a special kind. The world's largest ice cave is an experience for the whole family. Guided tours take place daily and are a good option during bad weather.
The Bruderladenhaus, also known as the Bruderlade, was built in 1661 and at that time served as a social venue for the miners in the region. Today, it is home to the Schladming City Museum and thus helps visitors to experience the past up close.
